C3 Action Announces Endorsements in Midterm Races

(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Conservative Coalition for Climate Solutions Action (C3 Action) released the following statement today regarding its endorsements for 2022 midterm races.

“Dozens of House conservatives demonstrated real vision and courage when they joined a caucus that boldly put the words ‘conservative’ and ‘climate’ in its title. The Conservative Climate Caucus, launched in 2021, signifies a turning point in the climate debate. No longer will conservatives allow far left progressives to own a conversation that is increasingly important to today’s – and tomorrow’s – electorate,” said C3 Action Executive Director John Hart.

“This pivot could not have come at a more important time. Runaway inflation and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have exposed the folly of far-left energy and environmental policy. Blocking American energy production, obstructing permitting reform and slowing the deployment of new and cleaner technologies has emboldened dictators while hurting American workers. Politicians who defend these failed policies should not be viewed as ‘serious’ about climate change. Thanks to the Conservative Climate Caucus, climate seriousness is taking on a new meaning.

“In politics, the perfect political moment for change is a mirage that’s always just beyond the horizon of the next election. These leaders have recognized that change is required now. Fortunately, as our polling has shown, voters do want bold, conservative leadership in the climate debate. Dozens of leaders in House and Senate races across the country are prepared to provide that leadership,” Hart said.

The mission of the Conservative Coalition for Climate Solutions Action or “C3 Action” is to advance economic and political freedom at home and abroad. Doing so will help equip policymakers in America and around the world to address the risks of climate change. C3 Action’s sister organization, C3 Solutions, recently published The Climate and Freedom Agenda that lays out policy and regulatory reforms that would help increase and diversify energy supplies, remove supply chain constraints, invest in healthy ecosystems, and build more resilient communities.
